TransferChain Q2 2026 Updates

Another quarter, another round of improvements across TransferChain. In Q2, we focused on simplifying everyday workflows, giving organizations more control over transfers and access, and improving performance across our products, here is what's new:

System & Enterprise Enhancements

  • Expanded Manager Approval with Azure AD
Manager Approval now supports Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) based manager assignments. Organizations can route transfer approvals to a user’s assigned manager while administrators receive the approval request in parallel, providing additional oversight and helping approval workflows remain consistent even when manager assignments change.
  • New download limit options for Enterprise users
Enterprise users now have additional download limit options, including 500 and 1,000 downloads, providing more flexibility when configuring how shared content can be accessed.
  • Smarter onboarding reminders
We introduced automated reminder emails for users who haven’t yet completed their onboarding. Reminders are sent at key intervals to help invited users continue their setup without requiring additional manual follow-up.
  • Admin Panel refinements
We refreshed several areas of the Admin Panel, including billing plan pages, page layouts, system messages, and related flows, creating a more consistent administration experience.
  • Improved branding configuration
Branding-related settings in the Admin Panel have also been refined to provide a smoother and more consistent setup experience.
  • Simplified passphrase setup
We redesigned the passphrase flow to make account setup more straightforward. Passphrases are now created after login, removing an additional verification step and reducing friction during onboarding and recovery-related experiences.

TransferChain SDK

  • Expanded SDK documentation for developers
We’ve enhanced the TransferChain SDK documentation with more detailed technical explanations, clearer configuration instructions, and practical integration examples.
  • SDK pricing information
A dedicated pricing section is now available on the SDK page, along with a direct enquiry flow for organizations interested in integrating TransferChain security technology.
  • New GCP and BigQuery integration capabilities
We’ve expanded the TransferChain SDK with new capabilities designed for Google Cloud environments and BigQuery-related workflows. These improvements make it easier for organizations to incorporate TransferChain’s encrypted storage, cryptographic verification, and data security capabilities into their cloud-based architectures and data pipelines.

  • More flexible transfer expiration options
New expiration durations are now available for transfers, including 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year, giving organizations (Enterprise Plans) greater control over how long transferred content remains accessible.
  • Faster multiple uploads
Multiple uploads in the web app are now processed in parallel. This improves performance when uploading several files at the same time and helps larger upload workflows complete more efficiently.
  • Smarter File Request notifications
When Email Verification is enabled for a File Request and specific recipients are added, those recipients now automatically receive an email with direct access to the upload page. Public File Request links continue to work without triggering recipient emails.
  • Mobile-friendly File Request uploads
The File Request upload experience is now responsive, making it easier for recipients to upload requested files directly from mobile devices.

  • Smarter folder filtering
When entering a folder, filters now automatically return to All, helping ensure the complete folder content remains visible without requiring users to manually reset a previous filter.
  • Faster access from the browser extension
The New Vault action in the browser extension now takes users directly to TransferChain Pass, reducing unnecessary navigation when managing passwords.

🔐 We’re always looking to make your experience of using TransferChain better and more secure.

🥳 We’ll be back with more exciting updates next quarter. See you in Q3!
