New at TransferChain - April 2024

• Two Factor Authentication (2FA) for File Requests: Extra protection with 2FA has been added to File Request. 2FA, or Two-Factor Authentication, adds an additional layer of security by requiring users to provide verification before gaining access to an account or a service. Typically, these two factors are something the user knows (like a password).
  Now, users can:
  • 1-) Select specific emails to grant access to the upload link, ensuring that only those specified emails can upload files. Users can proceed with the upload process by entering the code sent to their emails.
  • 2-) Activate 2FA for all users who will upload via the upload link. In this case, all users accessing the link will need to enter the code before gaining access.
• New notifications - when shared into a space: Users now receive notifications in the notification bar after someone shares a space with them.
• New ‘Request’ Tab under Notifications: Users will now receive notifications in the notification bar upon receiving a new file under their created file requests.
• Introduced Status page:  The status page was added to our website, where you can track whether TransferChain services are up or down.
• Admin Panel now has a new Add user Flow:  The user addition process has been enhanced, allowing for the entry of multiple emails at one time and the option to upload user email addresses via CSV.
• Ability to leave Spaces: There is now an option for leaving spaces you were invited to before, giving you greater control over your interactions.
• "Max Num. of Downloads" increased: When transferring files users could have set a maximum download limit, this limit now has been increased to 200+, covering additional use cases that our users need. This was reflected both on TransferChain Drive and TransferChain Send.
• Overall UX & UI improvements: As always we have made some improvements across both the user interfaces and the Admin Panel.
