TransferChain Q3 & Q4 Updates

End of 2025 is here—and so are the latest updates from TransferChain from the third and fourth quarters. We’re finishing 2025 with new features and strong optimizations. Here’s what’s new:

• Smarter notifications & navigation
  Notifications should take you exactly where you need to go—no extra clicks or confusion. In-app notifications now deep-link to the correct screen: when you click a notification, you’re taken directly to the relevant item's detail—whether that’s a transfer, a file request, or a new password share—instead of landing on the general 'transfer/file request/passwords' page.
• Smarter domain & access controls
  We’ve revisited Domain Validation end-to-end and optimized all related flows to make company-wide access control both clearer and safer. Users now see clearer guidance when a domain is already verified or restricted by company policy, helping admins keep control while end-users understand exactly what’s happening. • New sorting components & refreshed icons
  The sorting controls for Alphabetical and Creation date have been rebuilt and their icons updated, making it easier to see and change how your content is ordered.
• Promo code field for Free Teams upgrade
  A new promo code field has been added for Free Teams upgrades, making it easier for eligible companies to unlock added functionality without friction.
• Website support via Live Chat
  Based on your request, we’ve added Live Chat support to our main website as well, so you can reach our team anytime directly from the site, not only through the Admin Panel.
• TransferChain Outlook Add-in improved flow
  We’ve refined how file packages are handled in our Outlook add-in to better align with the transfer experience. You now get clearer guidance around attachment limits, while your existing file selections are kept intact.
• Admin & Enterprise Enhancements
  • Clearer pagination in user lists
    We’ve updated pagination in the contact book, user tables, and policies so that lists now show 40 items per page with clear page numbers (1, 2, 3, …). This makes it much easier to see where you are and move between pages compared to the previous, more ambiguous range-based view.
  • Smarter user selection in policy steps
    In the policy user selection screen, users who were previously assigned now come pre-selected by default—reducing manual clicks and making it easier to review or adjust assignees.

• Clearer sharing experience
  When you share a Space or Password, people who already have access now appear as disabled in the sharing pop-up. This helps you focus only on new recipients and avoid selecting the same person twice.
• Branding updates for Transfers & File Request
  We’ve expanded custom branding options so your external-facing flows can better reflect your brand:
  • Text color options in the Download Page
    On the downloads.transferchain.io page, you can now choose between black and white text to ensure the best contrast with your selected background.
  • Reset branding in SendTC & File Request
    In both Transfers and File Request, you can now reset all branding changes in a single step, quickly returning to the default look if you want to start over.
  • Refreshed the default background in the Download Page
    We’ve also updated the default background color in download screens to better align with our overall design system and improve readability.
• Detailed uploader information
  In Password and Space views (except the classic folder view), the owner field now shows the person who actually uploaded the file, not just the space owner. This makes it easier to see who added which file and follow your workflows more clearly.
• "Restore" performance tuning
  We’ve fine-tuned system performance for restore operations, making the restore process up to 40% faster.
• Optimized delete operations
  In TransferChain, each deletion requires removing all encrypted chunks through blockchain-based authorization, which makes the process highly secure but inherently time-consuming. We’ve further optimized the deletion process to make it faster and more consistent across the app.
• Expiration durations for Enterprise plans
  Enterprise plans now include an expiration option of up to 90 days for file transfers, adding an extra layer of control and security over how long shared content remains accessible.
• More stable Space page loading
  We’ve added a dedicated loading mechanism to the Space page to better control how content loads and prevent occasional visual glitches.
• Faster filtering in Spaces
  We’ve optimized how data is handled in the Spaces filters, making filter interactions quicker and more responsive, especially in larger workspaces.
• Feedback-Based UX/UI Improvements
  As always, we value your feedback—and we’ve used it to roll out several refinements to make the interface clearer and everyday interactions smoother.
  

• Faster extension sync
  The sync between our browser extension and the web app is now significantly faster. Adding, deleting, or sharing a password in the extension is reflected almost instantly in the web app, so your vault stays aligned across devices.
• Simplified password warning texts
  We’ve simplified the warning messages around password strength and risk to make them easier to understand without sacrificing clarity or security.
• Creation date in password list view
  The password list view now includes a Creation Date column, making it easier to track when each password was added.
• Smoother Password Import experience
  We’ve received a lot of valuable feedback from our users, and we’ve refined the import flow to make the entire process easier, while also allowing users to review imported data also. We have a few more optimizations planned for the password import process in Q1 2026.
